To find the best work means we have to establish relationships with artists from a variety of backgrounds.
Some have formally declared themselves as artists — it’s their professional identity. Others are creative “hobbyists” quietly pushing their abilities while working in related fields.

Artist Statement:
I'm a creative director who takes ideas to execution for brands from Infiniti to Microsoft. With roots as an Aspen, CO ski racer, I forged my creative chops at agencies like CP+B, where I served as a Design Director leading new business initiatives. I continuously experiment with "What's next?," and am passionate about the pace of the technology industry -- it's like anticipating the apex on an icy race course!
In my early days, I worked in school dark rooms processing negatives to large prints. My favorite camera was a Nikon SE that was indestructible (until it fell out of a jeep and was submerged in rain forest mud). I worked with the first digital SLRs in the late 90’s, which paled in comparison with today’s smart phone cameras.
Early on, I was inspired by the artwork my father filled our home with that included 20th century artists such as Le Corbusier, Alex Colville, and Ed Ruscha. The latter’s Standard Stations presented an intense perspective on vanishing points, which I still seek out today in my photographs and sketches of buildings.
I never manipulate the photographs you see here in image editing software. I capture what I’m seeing and sometimes adjust the Levels or Saturation. The “realness” of my photographs is something I value. I am drawn to unusual angles and finding moments of visual insight.
In my day job, I lead product design for global companies from LATAM to Los Angeles through my company United Tribe.

Pixure Art is just at the beginning.
We are in the process of vetting the work of other artists to fill three openings in our portfolio. If you are a photographer or print-maker who feel they have “the right stuff” we welcome your submission.
Your work will be reviewed by a team of professionals actively working in the design trades. We recommend submitting a body of work of ten (10) pieces. Only ten please, as this is enough for us to determine if we’d like to work with you.
